Dongola Ranch is located in the land of myth and legend, in the far north of Limpopo, South Africa. Set on a 3,400-hectare private reserve within the Greater Mapungubwe Cultural Landscape, the ranch offers guests a rare opportunity to experience one of Africa’s most historically and ecologically significant regions.
Ideally positioned, Dongola Ranch is just a 20-minute drive from Mapungubwe National Park, 15 minutes from the Big 5 Mapesu Private Game Reserve, and only 180 km from the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This makes it the perfect base from which to explore a diverse and lesser-travelled part of South Africa, rich in wildlife, culture, and dramatic landscapes.
